Mushroom matar is a very tasteful recipe . But today i have done some variation to make it different and and more tasteful.Mushroom is also very good source of vitamin D and this is one of the few foods that contains germanium which help your body to use oxygen. So take benefits to add mushroom in some of your dishes. And starts using it with shahi mushroom matar which gives you a royal taste of mushroom.
Ingredients:
250 gm Fresh mushroom buttons ( clean and cut into big pieces)
1 cup green peas
2 onions finely chopped
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
2 tsp Red chilli powder (less spicy)
2 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Cumin powder
3/4 cup Tomato puree
1/2 cup Cashew nut paste
3 tbsp Mawa grated
1 tsp Garam masala
Oil 2-3 tbsp
Water 2 cup
Salt to taste

Method:
- First boil the mushrooms with turmeric powder and salt.
- Now take a pan heat oil and add the chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
- Then add ginger garlic paste add little water and cook well.Add coriander powder, cumin powder,red chilli powder and fry it then add tomato puree and cashew nut paste .
- Fry till oil separates from the masala ,Add mawa and mix well.
- Now add mushrooms with water , green peas, salt and garam masala.
- Cook for one minute and serve hot with chapati.
