Paneer ROYAL

Hello friends after a long time i am back with my new recipe Paneer ROYAL .Paneer is very popular in india and used in several dishes. When relative comes to home and he is vegetarian the first choice of food to make is paneer. So i am sharing a very quick and easy main course dish . It will give you a very royal taste.And i hope all of you will  try it and love it.

Ingredients:
Paneer( cottage cheese) –300gm(250 gm cut in to cubes and 50 gm smashed)      
Onion – 3medium (boiled)
Tomatoes-3 (boiled and peeled)
 Ginger-1 inch piece
Garlic- 4
Green chillies-2
Coriander powder-2 tbsp
Kasuri methi-2 tbsp
Fresh cream-1/4 cup
Garam masala powder-1 1/2 tsp
Cashew -5-10 (boiled)
Bay leaf-1
Salt to taste
Oil -3 tbsp

Method:
  • Very first we make the paste of boiled onion.(to boil the onion just peel it off and boil it in a 2 cups of water).
  • Then heat the oil in a pan and add bay leaf ,chilly and paste of onion.Fry it till golden brown.
  • Now add ginger garlic paste and boiled tomato puree and fry till oil separates.
  • After it add coriander powder and mix it .Then add boiled cashew paste, salt and garam masala..
  • Add smashed paneer and fry it for one minute and add paneer cubes .
  • Now add one cup of boiled water.
  • Cook it for five minutes and add fresh cream and switch off the flame .
  • Garnish it with kasuri methi and cream.
  • Serve hot with indian breads.

Phirni

Phirni is a popular north-indian dessert.It is very easy to make. I have tried it first time and i also made some changes to its traditional method. Try it friends and i am very sure you all will definitely love this.

Ingredients:
Milk(full cream) 1ltr
Rice (soaked ) 4-5 tbsp
Saffron (diluted in one spoon milk)
Rose essence Few drops
Amul mithai made As per taste(instead of sugar)

For garnishing:

Almonds chopped Few
Cashew chopped Few
Saffron 
Rose petals

Method:
  • First take the soaked rice and grind it. Do not grind it very fine.
  • Now take a pan and boil milk. When milk start boiling add rice in it.
  • Cook for about 15 minutes on low flame.
  • To avoid crumbling mix it continuously.
  • Now add mithai made according to taste, rose essence and saffron mixture.
  • When phirni becomes creamy thick switch off the flame .
  • Pour it into earthenware containersand keep aside.
  • Refrigerate it for one hour.
  • Garnish it with almond,cashew,saffron and rose petals.
  • Serve it cool.

Murg Matka

In ancient time people used to cook food in the soil or clay pots. More recently however, clay cooking is coming back as a cooking technique in kitchens around the world because of the distinct flavor and nutritional value of food cooked in them.So this time i prepared chicken in this pot and in wood coal flame.And trust me its aroma and taste is heavenly.So friends in this winter try this method of cooking and impress your friends....

Ingredients-
Chicken 1 kg
Onion 500 gms
Tomatoes 3 large
Cashew 15-20
Bay leaf 1
Chicken masala 2 tbsp
Curd 250 gms
Red chilli powder 2 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder 2tbsp
Ginger Garlic paste 2 tsp
Garam masala1 tsp
 Green chillies slit 5-6
 Coriander leaf
Salt
Oil
Butter 2 cubes
Wood coal&dry woods for fire
One matka (a pot made with soil or clay)
Cloves 4-5
Cardamom black 4-5
Ground black pepper 8-10
Cinnamon 2"inch
(Crush all the whole Garam masala )


Method-
  •  Marinate the chicken pieces with curd for two hours.
  • Take a deep matka and heat oil.After that add bay leaf ,green chillies,crushed garam masala and onion paste.
  • When onion turns red add all the spices and chicken and tomato puree then cook till oil  starts floating over chicken.
  • Now add roasted cashew & butter.
  • Remove handi from the heat .
  • Garnish with fresh coriander.

Red Hot Paneer

 Paneer remains the most common type of cheese used in traditional indian cuisines. In most of the restaurants you can find the paneer dishes easily in the menu .We also use paneer in our home in many dishes. So today i made an experiment with paneer and make Red Hot Paneer try it guys and share your comments.

 Ingredients -
500gm    Paneer (cottage cheese)
1 ½ tsp   Garlic paste
1 ½ tsp   Ginger paste
1/4 cup   Oil
2 ½ tsp   Salt
2 ½ tsp   Red chilli powder or(chilli paste)
2 tsp      Cornflour
1 cup     Curd, whisked
2            Green chillies slit
3 tsp       Lemon juice
½ cup     Curry leaves
2            Onions cut into fine slices

 Method -

  • Take a bowl and mix the ginger-garlic paste,2 tsp oil, chilli powder ,red color and salt with a little water to form a thick paste.
  •   Add paneer pieces to the batter, marinate for about 1 hour.
  •   Mix in the cornflour and deep fry.
  •   Now in a pan take a little oil add green chillies ,curry leaves ,onion and cook till onion turns brown now add curd and cook for 2minutes.
  • Then add the fried paneer and mix well.
  •   Add lemon juice and garnish with curry leaves.
  • You can also serve it as a starter.

Besan instant dhokla

Dhokla is basically a Gujarati dish .But now everyone love to eat it. There are many types of Dhokla .
But today i am sharing how to make instant Dhokla. You can make it within 10-15 minutes. So go and try this.

Ingredients:
Besan (gram flour) 250 gm
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Eno 1 tsp
Water 1 cup
Sugar 3 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tsp
Salt to taste
For tadka-
Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Curry leaves 6-8
Slit green chillies 3-4
For garnishing-
Grated coconut 
Fresh coriander leaves

Method:
  • Take a bowl and make a thick batter of besan,now add turmeric powder and salt to the paste.
  • Just before steaming add eno and 2 tsp of water over it.
  • Mix quickly and pour the batter immediately into a greased 5" pan.
  • Steam for 10-12 minutes..
  • Now heat the oil and add mustard seeds, green chillies and curry leaves, then add 1 cup of water.
  • In this tadka water add sugar and lemon juice and mix well.
  • Cut the dhokla into pieces and dip these pieces into this tadka water for seconds.
  • Now squeeze off  the pieces gently and garnish it with coriander leaves and coconut.

Spicy royal tangdi chicken

There are so many people who are very conscious for health and avoid oily food. So today i am sharing a very healthy and tasty recipe. Chicken is a very good source of protein.So if we cook it with a little care it becomes more and more healthy .

Ingredients:
8 Chicken drumsticks(legs)
2 tbsp Lemon juice
1 cup Hung curd
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp Ground pepper powder
4-6 Green chillies finely chopped
2 tsp Chaat masala
Salt to taste

Method:
  • Cut two or three deep slashes in the flesh of each drumstick,apply lemon juice and salt
  • Now mix hung curd,ginger-garlic paste,turmeric powder,pepper and green chillies and marinate chicken drumsticks in this mixture.
  • Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  • Pre heat grill for 3 minutes,then microwave chicken on 300w + grill for 15 minutes.
  • When properly cooked sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot.

Creamy lemon chicken

Hello  friends how are you all?The winter season is on .So why not you go and try some new recipes of mine and enjoy your christmas and new year. Today i am sharing a very tasty and easy recipe of chicken. Try this and share your views with me.


Ingredients:

500 gm Boneless chicken
1 Large onion(fine paste)
1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
4-5 Green chillies
1 Bayleaf
2 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1 cup Tomato puree
1 tsp Garam masala powder
2-3 tsp Lemon juice
2 tsp Fresh cream
30 gm Yellow butter

Method:
  • Heat butter on the pan and add bay leaf ,green chillies ,onion paste and fry till onion turns brown.
  • Now add ginger garlic paste and  coriander ,red chilly powder, tomato puree and salt and cook 2 minutes.
  • Then add chicken in it and cook till chicken becomes tender and oil seperates.
  • Now add garam masala powder ,fresh cream and switch off the flame .
  • Add lemon juice and mix well.
  • Serve hot.
